Description
PNC-27 — 5 mg, ≥98 % HPLC — research overview
PNC-27 is a chimeric peptide combining residues 12–26 of the p53 HDM-2 binding domain with a membrane-residency sequence derived from penetratin. It is used in cancer-cell membranolysis and selective apoptosis research.
Peptide Shop supplies PNC-27 (1 × 5 mg vial) as a sealed research material with lot-level documentation. This product is supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only and is not intended for human use, veterinary use, therapy, diagnosis, cosmetic application or consumption.
Research applications
- Selective tumour-cell membranolysis research models
- p53 / HDM2 (MDM2) protein–protein interaction studies
- Cancer-cell selectivity and apoptosis induction assays
- Membrane-active anticancer-peptide structure–activity research
Sequence and analytical data
Identity and length confirmed by ESI-MS and analytical RP-HPLC. Highly hydrophobic; reconstitution requires careful solvent selection.
Storage and handling
Store lyophilised at -20 °C protected from moisture. Reconstitute in DMSO or 5% DMSO/PBS; aliquot to avoid freeze-thaw.
Documentation
A lot-specific Certificate of Analysis is available in EN, DE, FR and ES from the product detail page after dispatch. The CoA reports HPLC purity, identity confirmation, appearance, and storage and handling guidance for the dispatched lot.
