Description
BNP-32, human — 0.5 mg, ≥98 % HPLC — research overview
BNP-32 is the active 32-residue form of B-type natriuretic peptide secreted by ventricular cardiomyocytes. It is the most widely cited cardiac biomarker reference in heart-failure research and ELISA assay development.
Peptide Shop supplies BNP-32 (1 × 0.5 mg vial) as a sealed research material with lot-level documentation. This product is supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only and is not intended for human use, veterinary use, therapy, diagnosis, cosmetic application or consumption.
Research applications
- NT-proBNP / BNP immunoassay calibration and ELISA controls
- NPR-A signalling and cGMP-pathway research
- Cardiac stretch-response and ventricular-remodelling models
- Heart-failure biomarker validation studies
Sequence and analytical data
Sequence identity confirmed by ESI-MS; disulfide formation between Cys10 and Cys26 verified by reductive HPLC.
Storage and handling
Store lyophilised at -20 °C protected from light. Reconstituted aliquots are stable at -80 °C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
