Description
Thymulin (Zn-FTS) — 1 mg, ≥98 % HPLC — research overview
Thymulin is a nine-residue thymic peptide whose biological activity depends on stoichiometric Zn²⁺ binding. It is used in T-cell maturation, immunosenescence and neuroendocrine-immune research.
Peptide Shop supplies Thymulin (1 × 1 mg vial) as a sealed research material with lot-level documentation. This product is supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only and is not intended for human use, veterinary use, therapy, diagnosis, cosmetic application or consumption.
Research applications
- T-cell receptor and CD differentiation research
- Immunosenescence and thymic-involution studies
- Neuroendocrine-immune crossover research models
- Zinc-dependent peptide biology research
Sequence and analytical data
Supplied as the apo-peptide (zinc-free); add equimolar ZnSO4 in assay buffer to generate the active Zn-bound form. Identity confirmed by ESI-MS.
Storage and handling
Store lyophilised at -20 °C protected from moisture. Reconstitute fresh and add Zn²⁺ immediately before use.
Documentation
